THE STORY IS STILL DEVELOPING. A KEVIN GILBRETT STREAMED THE INCIDENCE ON FACEBOOK LIVE.

NORTH DAKOTA –  As at the time of this story being published, it is said by Kevin Gilbertt who is filming the story that there are over 169 injured casualties from the attack on unarmed water protesters in Standing Rock North Dakota.  This video (no longer available) is Standing Rock. As streamed by a Kevin Gilbertt and with over 30,000 views on an earlier  live feed, the story is still developing however as of the time this video was streaming , it is said that the unarmed water protesters (American civilians) in North Dakota are trapped on the bridge and are being under attack fired at with water cannons in freezing weather of about 29 degrees, tear gas, rubber bullets, concussion grenades and more.

The “Dakota Acces” Pipeline (DAPL) is a $3.8B, 1,100 mile fracked-oil pipeline currently under construction from the Bakken shale fields of North Dakota to Peoria, Illinois. DAPL is slated to cross Lakota Treaty Territory at the Standing Rock Sioux Reservation where it would be laid underneath the Missouri River, the longest river on the continent. The DAPL is a massive project being organized by a shady group of the world’s largest fossil-fuel companies and banks. They have offices in cities around the world. Putting direct, nonviolent pressure on the corporations building and funding this project is critical for supporting frontline resistance to DAPL

Our team was initially nudged by a Lauren Marie Taylor to check out the live stream by Kevin Gilbrett who is filming on Bridge on Hwy 1806 in Standing Rock  North Dakota. The video and commentaries being shared was that tear gas and rubber bullets were being targeted on unarmed water protesters. He said his friend who was in the midst of the incidence delivering water to people inhaled the tear gas, she started coughing, puked and then pissed in her pants.

Tara Ansley, nudged us to cover this story of the #NODAPL, we planned on finding measures to report the stories but this can no longer wait.

WHAT IS HAPPENING IN NORTH DAKOTA? WHERE IS THE MAINSTREAM MEDIA? WHO ARE THE ATTACKERS? WHERE IS THE GOVERNMENT?

This is a quote Tara Ansley who has been following this #NODAPL story, sent to TANTV.

“The United States Government has never cared about the Native People whose land it took by force. There’s a lot of money invested in this pipeline infrastructure. They need the infrastructure to be completed and the oil to flow. The more money invested in the project the more money in the oil game and the longer we have to wait to get off oil dependency. You get people in bed on the pipeline … jobs, machinery, contractors, banks, etc and they’re going to want to recoup their money… they want to be paid. They need the project completed to make money… to profit …. for them its about cash for the natives it’s about protecting their land, sacred sites, and water – water for everyone. Water is Life. Mni wiconi.” – Tara Ansley

Another Source following this story, Erin Schrode shared this post:

  1. Water is life. And water is now a weapon in the hands of police.
  2. Peaceful Water Protectors are being blasted with water cannons, tear gas, rubber bullets and LRADs at #StandingRock in below freezing 24° F conditions after dark. Per my friends on the ground – for whom I am praying with, grateful to and fearful for – many individuals are being rushed to the hospital in ambulances, vomiting, and urinating due to hypothermia.
  3. “We just got our daily dose of teargas,” one just tex…ted me. Pathetic. This militarization of the police force cannot be normalized.
  4. WAKE THE F*** UP! MAKE NOISE! CALL YOUR ELECTED OFFICIALS! SHOW UP! NEVER STOP. THIS IS THE FIGHT OF OUR LIVES: FOR THE ENVIRONMENT, HUMAN RIGHTS, PEACE, NATIVE SOVEREIGNTY, ALL THAT MATTERS.
  5. Where is our government? Where is Barack Obama? Where is the Loretta Lynch? Where is justice? #NoDAPL

CAMPS:

What are the Sacred Stones, Oceti Sakowin and Red Warrior camps?

Camp of the Sacred Stones has been active since April 1, 2016 but since mass protests began in mid-August, we’ve seen a huge influx of campers. There is now a large camp on the north side of the Cannonball River called Oceti Sakowin Camp. Red Warrior Camp is also located there. These camps are not officially affiliated with Sacred Stone Camp but we all share the common goal of protecting the water from the threat of the Dakota Access Pipeline

NEED / WANT:

They want people to come and stand up (peaceful water protectors)

We understand that not everyone can physically come to camp with us, but there is much that can be done from afar. You can donate money or supplies, or help us spread the word by following us on social media and sharing our posts.  If you have legal or media skills to offer, please contact us.

What’s all this about Black Snakes?

http://sacredstonecamp.org/dakota-access-pipeline/

When we refer to the pipeline as a black snake, we are referencing an old Lakota prophecy that speaks of a black snake (zuzeca sape) crossing the land, bringing with it destruction and devastation.

ATTACKERS :

MILITARIZED POLICE FROM VARIOUS STATES …. ADDL THE NATIONAL GUARD WAS BROUGHT IN
