Major News has dropped today for the Sports world. Green Bay Packers Quarterback Aaron Rodgers has announced that the franchise in Green Bay is ready to “move on” from him. This comes a few weeks after Aaron Rodgers announced he was going into a “Darkness Retreat” to meditate and contemplate his career and future.

This news comes after he spoke to the Pat McAfee show today, a show heavily invested in sports news, the biggest news at the moment being free agency for the NFL. For the past few weeks, numerous players have been either traded to other teams or released from their current teams. However, the biggest question was what Aaron Rodgers decision was going to be.

“When I came out of the darkness, something changed. I realized there had been a little bit of shift,” Rodgers told the Pat McAfee show. “It was clear to me at that point, that while Green Bay would say it as nicely as possible publicly, they were planning to move on from me.”

Rodgers continued on to state that he has no hate or anger towards the organization for this decision, he only wishes that at the beginning of the offseason they could’ve had this kind of conversation with him.

“I love direct communication, if they had just said listen, we think it’s time we move in different directions, then I would have said Man thank you so much for this opportunity.

At this time, Rodgers has been in talks with the New York Jets and has admitted that he has an intent to play for them and that now its just coming down to when a trade is finalized.
