Palestinian militant group launched a massive aerial and ground surprise attack from the Gaza Strip. The attach came a day after Israel and the Arab world marked the 50th anniversary of the surprise attack by Egypt and Syria that launched the Yom Kippur War.
At least one person was killed and 15 wounded in the strikes, and casualties were reported from Sderot
