Asia’s richest man, Mukesh Ambani three-day extravagant pre-wedding celebration for his son, Anant Ambani, and his soon-to-be wife, Radhika Merchant attended by some of the world’s most influential figures, promises to be a spectacle of opulence.
Among the distinguished guests are global titans like Mark Zuckerberg, Rihanna, and Bill Gates. The star-studded guest list also includes Bollywood icons Shah Rukh Khan and Amitabh Bachchan, Indian billionaires Gautam Adani and Kumar Mangalam Birla, and international figures such as Disney CEO Bob Iger, Alphabet CEO Sundar Pichai, and former Canadian PM Stephen Harper.
Rihanna is set to perform at the gala held in a township near Reliance’s main oil refinery in Jamnagar. The festivities, known for their extravagance, include a cocktail party with a “jungle fever” dress code, a visit to the Ambanis’ animal rescue center, and a gala featuring illusionist David Blaine.
Guests are treated to over 2,500 dishes prepared by a team of 65 chefs, with additional services such as hair styling, makeup, and saree draping.
Mukesh Ambani, the 66-year-old chairman of Reliance Industries, is currently the world’s 10th richest man with a net worth of $115 billion. His conglomerate, founded in 1966, operates across diverse sectors, from refining and retail to financial services and telecom.
The pre-wedding celebrations mark another chapter in the Ambani family’s tradition of hosting lavish events. In 2018, the wedding of Mukesh Ambani’s daughter Isha attracted global attention, featuring performances by Beyoncé and notable guests like former US Secretaries of State Hillary Clinton and John Kerry.
