In television, Ayo Edebiri earned two nominations for her standout performances.

But it’s in the music realm where some of the biggest names are shining. Victoria Monét and Usher lead the pack with six and five nominations, respectively, setting the stage for a thrilling competition.

Amidst the week’s festivities, Friday will see the esteemed costume designer, stylist, and personality June Ambrose being honored with the Vanguard Award at the NAACP Image Awards Fashion Show. Then, during Saturday’s live broadcast, activist and poet Amanda Gorman received the prestigious Chairman’s Award.

But it’s not just about the glitz and glamour. The NAACP Image Awards also recognize individuals for their remarkable achievements and contributions to society.
