The 2024 Super Bowl Soulful Celebration, founded by the visionary Melanie Few, is an annual gospel music event held the night before the Super Bowl. It brings together NFL players, Grammy-winning artists, and special guests for an uplifting evening filled with soulful music, inspirational messages, and a message of hope and faith.
This year marks the 25th anniversary of the Super Bowl Soulful Celebration, previously known as the Super Bowl Gospel Celebration. The Soulful Celebration is a collaborative effort involving partners such as Expectant Media, which has played a crucial role in securing and managing sponsorships for the show.
Created 25 years ago by Melanie Few, an extraordinary Black woman, the show remains the only NFL-sanctioned Super Bowl event outside of the game itself. Hosted by Cedric the Entertainer and Tichina Arnold, this inspiring concert event combines music and football, featuring scheduled performers like Kirk Franklin, Mary Mary, Robin Thicke, the Players Choir, and Earth, Wind & Fire.
