Jonathan Majors is a 33-year-old actor whose first major breakout role happened when he was cast as aspiring playwright Montgomery Allen in A24’s “The Last Black Man in San Francisco,” which premiered at Sundance Film Festival. Major recently became more popular after starring in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania and Creed 3 his performance in both movies was thrilling and had the internet in an uproar.
On Saturday, Majors was reportedly arrested and taken into custody for assaulting his girlfriend but the actor has denied any wrongdoings. Several visible injuries are said to have been sustained by the alleged victim, including a laceration behind her ear, redness, and marks on her face. She is believed to be in stable condition after being transported to a nearby hospital. Upon seeing enough evidence for probable cause, Majors was handcuffed and taken to jail.
