The Greater Washington Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (GWHCC) is set to host its highly anticipated Business Expo 2024 on Thursday, March 28, 2024, at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center. This premier event, renowned for connecting minority-owned businesses with potential clients and organizations that support their growth, has seen a significant increase in participation over the years. From 70 exhibitors and 500 attendees in 2010, the expo has grown to host over 1,000 attendees and more than 100 exhibitors in recent years.

The Business Expo 2024 promises a day filled with opportunities for both exhibitors and attendees. The event will feature over 150 exhibitors, educational seminars, business matchmaking sessions, resources for starting and growing businesses, an executive luncheon, a small business village, a job and career fair, international row, networking opportunities, a fashion show, and insights into federal government contracting.

One of the key highlights of the expo is the opportunity to connect with the local Hispanic business community. The US Hispanic market, if considered a standalone country, would rank as a top-20 world economy. The Washington metro area, in particular, is recognized as the nation’s fourth fastest-growing market. The expo serves as an excellent platform for businesses to meet leaders of the Hispanic business community face-to-face and establish relationships that could open doors to this lucrative market.

Attendees will also have the chance to meet buyers and decision-makers from over 100 exhibiting businesses. The Business Matchmaking Sessions are designed to facilitate interactions with decision-makers from local and federal government agencies, as well as large organizations and corporations, who are in the market to purchase goods and services.

The event will also offer a variety of business workshops covering topics such as marketing to Hispanics, doing business with DC, MD, and VA governments, learning from successful Hispanic business owners, federal procurement, overseas investment opportunities, and more. Additionally, Latin American Embassies will be present to showcase unique business opportunities, further emphasizing the expo’s role in fostering international business relations.

An Executive Luncheon will also be part of the expo, providing a networking opportunity where attendees can connect with some of the most prominent figures in the business community. This luncheon is set to take place in Ballroom A of the Walter E. Washington Convention Center from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm.

The GWHCC Business Expo 2024 is a once-in-a-year opportunity for businesses to showcase their offerings among powerful resources, learn from industry leaders, and establish meaningful connections that could propel their growth. With general attendance being free and open to all, this event is poised to be a pivotal gathering for the business community in the Greater Washington area. Register here
